What to Confirm Before Custom Fabric Production
Before placing a custom fabric order, buyers should confirm application, material feel, color standard, weight, width, packing, and testing needs.
Custom fabric production is smoother when the key details are confirmed early. The first question is always the final application: apparel, plush toys, blankets, home textiles, accessories, or another product.
After the application is clear, buyers should confirm the target hand feel, pile height, weight, width, backing, and color. If there is a reference sample, it is helpful to send physical swatches or clear photos with specifications.
Color control is another important step. Buyers can provide Pantone numbers, lab dip requirements, or original fabric samples. For export orders, packing method, roll length, labeling, and carton requirements should also be confirmed before production.
If the final product needs testing, such as color fastness, safety, or performance standards, these requirements should be discussed before sample approval.
Clear specifications help reduce production risk and make the quotation more accurate. Our team can support sample development and bulk production based on buyer requirements.
